sky fitters shoddy workmanship

This pic is what the sky digital fitter did today at home. While I was at work! The missus was there so he took the oportunity to do a s**t  job. She said she offerd him a tenner to do a good job as well, but he replied 'We're not allowed to take tips and I always do a good job' [Edited] :(bigangry):  There is more but i'm gonna have an anurism of I don't calm down a bit.

    But yes, all to often these days it seems that a atrocious quality of work is somehow achieved, hope your getting them back? or what i usaully do is finish the job proerlly me self :roll:

Must admit that the local fitter/s here arent too bad, they are pretty good and generous at it, if you want more cable to make a tv extension they are more than happy to give you some extra off the roll of cable for you to do this.

Got to say, that is a crap job! get them back and make them fix the mistake.

That's pretty horrendous I'd say.

Myself and others I know have got them just fit the dish outside and then leave enough cable behind so I could do the cableing run myself (knowing that if I left to them they'd f*** it up).

It all started to go wrong when I asked the installation engineer to run the cable in through the loft...

"no sir- we're not allowed in lofts. It's against Health & Safety Policy"

"How are you going to get the cable in the house then?"

"Ahh- we normally drill a hole through a window frame."

"No you're bl**dy not! Line up the dish. Leave me the cable and go away....."
