Series 2 Wiper wash problem

The switch works for the wiper blades okay but when you try to wash it blows the fuse. Not sure which part of the switch is ment to go to the washer pump.

Any ideas?

that sounds like theres a short on the green and black cable(i think) that goes to the washer motor, or the motor itself is seized

get an ampmeter and put it across the fuse terminals and see what current gets drawn as you press the button.
the try it with the motor disconnected, and see if its any different.
