Flippin Ebay

winchman:
Just won some thing on Ebay for £3.21
Lives about 2 miles away and if I collect wants 7.50 postage!
Am I over reacting or is this robbery?
She tells me she had to buy packaging materials, must be good packaging!

tomarse:
i think it is a bit cheeky, though she could legitimately have packed it all up in gold leaf bubble wrap ready for posting.

Did she say she would accept collection in person in the auction description? if so then it is very cheeky and i would refuse to pay for postage or packing!

If she didnt say collection, then you might have trouble complaining.

if youre paying anyway, then make her post it and state that you expect the packing to be good if youre paying that much for it!

it looks like she is counting the postage cost as being part of the final item price like a lot of ebay sellers seem to.

winchman:
I only bidas it was handy to have but I feel its worth £20 ish, but Its the principal and this is what drives me, its not the cash, I asked If I could collect one of her other items this was no problem, think its to do with making up for the low sale price.

ChrisW:
Surely it's her risk if she wants to go out and buy the materials for P+P?
What's your feedback like, is it worth risking one negative, you can always respond to the feedback.

winchman:
182 posative no negs for me.
I try to be as honestas I can, we all might make a quid on P+P but this is a rip. Bubble wrap etc isnt cheap but shes flogging enough stuff to compensate for it.

any one want a caravan????
