Virus on my pc PLEASE help me
MrTFWitt:
You could also run a program called stinger to try and clean it up
Download it here, its from Mcaffee
http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
Its a stand alone virus tool that could run in safe mode.
Another option and my preferred if its really infested is to buy a new hard drive, install windows on it and plug the old drive in as a slave drive so you can get at all your old files.

Or, if you are cheap, like me, then download and burn yourself (or go round to a mates and do it) a Knoppix CD.
http://www.knoppix.org/ - Dont worry about Linux being written all over it, its dead simple and easy to use.
This would allow you to boot the computer off of a CD/DVD and let you rescue all your files to a USB stick drive or burn them to a CD. That way, you can rescue anything you need to and once your done, wipe the original hard drive and re-install windows.
Then just plug the USB stick back in and get all your saved stuff back.

I'd recommend this but you need to run it in Safe Mode to allow it access to the files it needs to delete.
RCRockCrawler:
I'm with the "system restore" idea. I once got a mega-virus on MSN, that cleaned it right up. Good luck man, I know how frustrating it is.
gtomo2:
Only problem with system resote is that is sotres the virus as well as every time you re boot it re loads the virus. so delete the resore file then re boot the pc. I never have system reore switch on as it can course more hassle than whats its worth
