Range Rover Blues:
NEVER had one bust, heard loads of people say they have but it's one of those things.  I'm gentle with my right foot and don't drive like a hero but anyone can get caught out I suppose.

I'm running stronger diffs now (lockers) so I guess it's cv joints I have to take care of now.  Thing is while ever I have a stock of spares I'll be ok.

disco maniac:
all fixed and back into the stick stuff

upon close inspection i think one of the little cogs had been broke for quite a while due to scoring on its shaft. ( he says knowingly as not to take any blame for his driving technique       )

I know people who break these all the time and others that seem to be ok

Sam, aka Diesel_boy carries a spare in the boot of his range now so he can change it whilst out!

disco maniac:
you sure know how to make me feel better

but seriously...........if they are prone to breaking that easily, is there anyone who beefs them up.
