You Couldn't Make It Up!
« on: November 07, 2006, 12:56:11 »
Whilst I was driving through Harehills in Leeds this morning, I was listening to Ken Bruce this morning & during the course of one of his chats with Lyn Bowles

She mentioned Land Rovers (again!!) Whilst 'we' didn't get a mention the Light-Weight Land Rover Club did.

But anyway, to the point

Ken mentioned a little snippet about a Fish & Chip shop in Wakefield (which made me take even more notice  )
It was being investigated by the Environmental Health, following a complaint, for issuing forth the smell of.
Yes, you've guessed

Fish & Chips

Bonkers isn't the word :?

Can't find the story on-line yet to add to a link

The take-away I use has Jerk Chicken, Goat Curry & Salt-Fish (Maureens, listed in 'The Food Forum')

We also sometimes got to a pub/restaraunt run by a Portugese couple who do a superb Chicken Piri-Piri
