The original Monaro VXR test

AND...... the gorgeous run-out model that Tom Ford tested on 5th Gear last week, the VRX 500
Oh what a beast!!
Wouldn't I love to have that in my garage?  :(biglove):

Also, try listening to this one about 1'25 into it (in the tunnel  :D )
Now if you don't think that's not one of the finest noises in existance, there's something wrong with you

Okay, maybe it's not posh/'advanced'/'designer-labelled' like one of those B*W things, but who cares?, as this has SOUL!!!

I still regret not buying one instead of the 110, after my day at Bruntingthorpe (& later test-drive)

Does this bring back memories for you?? (plus links at the side?)

I'd love a Monaro, or a Commodore estate (sorry..... wagon)

The XR8 was the Sierra V8 wasn't it, as also available in South Africa (who had the Pirahna Capri - with a 5.0V8 :(biglove): )

my brother-in-law has just got a vxr 500. it's awesome.

greens in kent are doing the "standard" vxr for £27k new. only £67.50 per bhp. unfortunately i'm short, so will have to settle for rides.

i'll try to post links to some video footage so that everyone can experience the roar of the v8 combined with the screaming banshee supercharger.
