You'll find useful information, including recommended tyre sizes, here http://www.jeepclub.co.uk/features.cfm - you'll also find a calculator to convert metric to imperial tyre sizes.

4.0 XJ's the same - unless you keep it in Full-Time 4x4 - almost impossible then! 8)

Tell him to put a Wrangler Flare on that side and that it adds character :)

Looks a bit nasty... especially doing that to the inside of the rim, any idea how that happened, or could that have been what caused the accident?

From the pic it looks like it's hit something but normally to do that you'd have had to have bent something in the steering setup and you wouldn't be able to drive it afterwards.

Wranglers are fun in the wet with muds on... but again, you get used to it. but the Wrangler is 2wd (Rear driven) on road due to the transfer case rather than center Diff, All the Cherrys have diffs to my knowlege so should behave really well in the wet, even with muds (So long as you remember to put them in ft4x4 and don't shut the power off if you are cooking it on a roundabout.

Sorry Ed, but the 2.5 Petrol and 2.5 Diesel XJ don't have Full-Time 4x4 - they have the same TC as the Wrangler.  Only the 4.0 Auto has Full-Time 4x4.
