Does anyone know the best place to get some rock/tree sliders for a 110 preferably with jacking points? Money is always an issue so looking for reasonably priced for good quality

Paddocks is where i got mine, they are excellent, fit well and i went for the galv and powder coat finish so well protected too. Been battered and scratched but no rust.

Mine have the tree bars and jacking points along them too :)

Ordered about 3 weeks ago, at the begining the guy didn't have any fabricated, then had issues with galv shop now I am about to give up on him as total waste of my time. Won't return calls or emails, we as customers would be understanding of delays (or would be) but no communication from him/company as to the situation is annoying to say the least.

Unless the order turns up next week with some sort of explanation I wouldn't recommend mill-services to anyone which is shame as Richard seemed really nice and everyone I know have dealt with them recommended the product. :cry:

He makes all of his kit in batches as he works on his own. I am sure he will get them to you soon. The place he uses for the galvanising can be a bit slow (I know people who work there), but you can not blame him for that. I think, well I know, you will find more people happy with the stuff from him than people who are dissapointed. I only know Richard from buying from him and have never had a peoblem.

Finally had contact and I totally accept the personal reason as to why Richard hadn't been in communication over last week or so, and hope things turn out for the better in regard to that reason.

I look forward to receiving the order as an when he is able and am sure it is of the highest standard as everyone else has stated previously.

Mine were exactly like that - still haven't got around to fitting them, but have had a brief look and it doesn't look that straight forward......think there might be some 'modifications' required !

I only looked at the top picture of those fixings and they look shocking, you couldnt give them away with that poor finish! They look like they have been cut with a gas axe!

 I hope there is a very good explanation for them :roll:   In my own opinion evenif they are to be fitted out of the way underneath out of sight ect i would still expect them to look a tad better than that

i cannot believe people are happy with work thats been chewed out and then grinder finished.
i know they are just brackets, but thats appauling.

mine wernt drilled but had been finished and galved

made it easier to fit being undrilled as all the holes lined up as i drilled them  :roll:

those look shocking i'd be on the phone asap

Where do they go anyway, my paddocks tree sliders had a mounting that goes through the tubular outrigger and bolts up tight and a front fixing to the chassis again, no funny plates needed, all has slight adjustment possible to allow for the landrover build!!

I quite liked the look of those and even the price considering it includes vat & p+p but after looking at those pics its put me off.

Spoke to Guardian off road and as he will be taking measurements of the vehicle I guess you can't get any better than 'made to measure'
