FOREST WIRE KITS.... road legal?
mark.yellow.series.3:
IMHO, i think they are only legal on the camel vehicles only, not all LR.
but for the record, i like them and i might put some on my truck at somepoint.
Range Rover Blues:
I think I heard not legal somewhere, it's classed as an exposed sharp edge.....
blackbob:
what makes them a sharp edge cos a lr bumper is sharp at speed cos its square
they aint sharp but think they are a tad dangerous to pedestrians so do you need them as a perminant fixture?
Bulli:
Sorry guys but can you tell me why you need em? Ive put some new routes through private woodland and have not needed them- i think unless you happen to be going into the darien gap they are pure pose value.
So if they are only to pose is it worth the potential for maiming someone? errr NO
waveydavey:
If they are for pure pose value "I like them" then really why?
There are enough people anti 4x4's without providing ammunition. It really would not be hard for somebody to set up a demo of a dummy being cut in half and "it's very unlikly to happen" makes a pretty poor defence.
Come to that when the picture is there of a dummy cut in half wonlt it be a good relpy to say "because I can"?
