The one on the 101 is about 8' above the ground, and the VOSA people didn't raise any issues in the MOT.  The only people who have complained is the Senegalese police, and they were just trying it on.

I thought stick ons were outlawad because they can be stuck together by anyone to get around the new regs about producing docs to have one made.

No stick on ones if made properly are still done using the same spec reflectice backing as genuine ones and its as easy to make a stick on as it is a rigid one, the main reason for stick on's being banned was that on a bonnet etc they are not clearly visable. Rigid ones have to be almost vertical to be legal and visable so it was easier for them just to ban stick ons.


BTM is kind of right re cameras, the front photographing cameras find bonnet plates difficult to read.
