errr what have i done?
Range Rover Blues:
The 3.5 is a solid engine, one of the best so treat it to a good service and use quality oil (not that I'm plugging it but I use that Lucas stuff from E_bay).
Good ignition, if funds allow fit some IRIDIUM plugs as they will help with [PooPoo] fuel and stay on-song so much longer (£8 a plug  ) plus some decent leads and cap/arm (fit genuine Lucas)
The colour of the insides of a V8 tell more baout it's condition than the mileage so use your common sense.
Think about a clutch if it's had plenty of use.
Obvioulsy do all the gearbox/axle oils too and look at the colour of what comes out. If the gearbox works ok then no reason to expect trouble, if it's becoming a cow, you already know the answer.
Make sure the cooling is up to scratch, I'm testing that water-wetting stuff in the LSE (let you know how it goes) also from the Lucas oils guy.
Spares, take a sensible amount but don't break your truck with the weight of 2 spare axles/fridge/big jack etc etc.
Have fun :!:
