Jim-Willy:
as far as i remember the wolf is a 6.5 inch rim, i would not fit 265/75 on them, they will probably go on but the rim is a little narrow imho.
AbyssDJ:
yep wolfs are 6.5". theres been a lot of discussion about it everywhere... some say its fine some dont.... numerous people have even had 285s on them with no problems, although i definately wouldnt go that far.
BFG 255's spec info states as follows:
LT255/85R16/D 119/116Q RWL 66524 6.5 - 8 10 on 7 33.3 19 625 3000@65
the bold text being the rim width range... so a 255 would fit correctly according to them. 265 goes up to 7" - 8"... difference of about 1.25cm? cant make that much difference really.
just noticed on devon4x4 that simex do the ET's in 35x10.5R16.............10.5" being 266.7mm..........
Xtremeteam:
you do know that a 265/75/16 insa when placed beside a 33" kumho is exactly the same height
AbyssDJ:
yep i've read it before.. think it was you that posted it :) just trying to find the best option.
craddocks seem to think that a 265 wont fit on a wolf rim "by the letter of the law" and then tried to sell me a procomp MT package with rims for £600odd........ must think im bloody green.
we'll probably still end up going for the insa turbo's i think.. just wanna look around first :)
dew1911:
Got to say, do you really need tires that big on a 110?
They will effect your gearing, speedo and steering (although in a 110 with working PAS you will hardly notice it), might find it makes the truck a bit lifeless. 235/85s are a good size, give them a macho look without effecting too many things. (Well, I think mine looks great on them)
