AbyssDJ:
after some big tyres.. maybe 255/85 or 255/100 michelin XZL's? am i right in thinking thats what i want? :) odd question i know..

wheres the best place to get em?

Jim-Willy:
I could be wrong but i thought they came in 7.50, 8.25 and 9.00 x 16.  Although 900 x 16 probably is close to 255/100.  Damned big tyres they are..........  As to where you can buy them i have no idea, i wanted 8.25 x 16 myself a while ago.

AbyssDJ:
im not sure... i've been told/net appears to think that you can get them in those sizes... thing is, i dont want a tyre thats tall but skinny... want some width as i dont like the milk float look :)

reason i was looking at those is because they'll fit on wolf rims ;) alternatively though, any suggestions are welcome... we just want some bigger/taller tyres :D on 235/85 at the mo

Jim-Willy:
255/100 would be a very tall tyre so would look narrow.  You might be as well getting 15" rims so you can fit 33 x 12.50 or similar, they are very wide and a bit taller than what you have although not as tall as a 255/100 would be.  I take it you have some kind of suspension lift?  If not the 255/85 would be ok i think, you might get away with a 33" but aren't certain on account of the width.  If no lift be sure they fit before you buy.  Hopefully someone will know anyway.

AbyssDJ:
thats the only thing thats putting me off 255/100's.... the height making them look narrower. we dont have a lift as such, but sit higher than 80% anyway - the majority have come to the conclusion that we have HD coils fitted.

the whole dilemma is basically what we can fit on wolfs... dont wanna change the rims. 255/85 is gonna be the most sensible size i think as they will fit spot on, but then you're limited to tyre choice, being only between the 255/85 bfg MTs and michelins if they even exist in that size.

other alternative is 265/75 insa turbos... but we would like a bigger tyre
