Suspention lift pic AND mesurements
« on: October 10, 2006, 18:31:36 »
ANyone got a pic of a vit with the basic 2" suspention lift on it, trying to decide wether to do it or not and I suspect I already have a lift wnaywa as I have 4 almost brand new springs and she seems to sit a lot higher than most.

Diff to ground clearance from a standard would be usefult too.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

The strut spacer cost £35 from Dave Jones at Bits For Vits (eBay) & Jeff (my work-mate) fabricated the rest of the stuff. You can get the whole lot from Dave if you view his eBay shop.

Quite heavy looking, black with the lower portion of the spring sprayed green. Everything else under there has a layer of crud on it even when we got it, but the springs were imaculate.

And its front diff to ground I was after, not rear, just realised thats a pointless measurement :)

I have a feeling tahts what the AT2s are. Or close. I guess wheel rim to ground would help if I'm being lazy :)

will get measure out tomorrow, but I have a feeling she's higher than that by some amount. Axel stand (10T Clarke one) will go under there on its lowest setting.
