stub axles

hi all.just a quick question. i have a 1993 200 tdi disco. i was just wondering if the front and rear stub axles take the same size seals. my inner seal has gone on my o/s/r and its leaking ep90 all up the inside of the tyre and wheel arch. i have a front inner seal so was wondering if they are the same...i know my wheel bearings are the same all the way round.........

if its leaking up the tyre it aint the stub axle seal

its the hub seal which is the same allround

thats the one.....inside the back end of the stub axle.........seals the ep90 into axle....

mine did that
the wheel bearing had gone causing the stub axle to move about and
seal couldnt cope
i didnt hear any noise from bearing or any vibration
hope this helps

ive not long changed the bearing on that hub.... i might have pinched the seal when putting it all back together  :oops:  :oops:  :oops:
