SteveH:
Time has come to put new rubber onto the old girl, after something that can stay on her all the time, no suspension mods so standardish sizes needed but would like something a bit more off road biased than the A/T's I have at the moment, though reasonable road manners are a bonus  :D

Any Suggestions / known bads to avoid?

Steve

Wanderer:
Amazons if they'll fit.

I just bit the bullet and bought BFG MT's. Mighty expensive, but I find them excellent on the tarmac and unbelievable in the sticky stuff.

Dangermouse:
I have to agree with v8moneypit on the BFG MT's i have bent to wheel rim's of road, had the rim hammered back & the BFG's are still good to go

Goodyear Wrangler MTR's   extremely strong and fantastic in the wet stuff. As used by Land Rover on the G4 challenge. Not too noisey on the road either.
The guys I go out lanning with were very impressed with them on a mud run recently.
