Landrover V8
« on: September 23, 2004, 07:28:20 »
I've bought a stage one V8 to rebuild & replace the one in my 110.
Can anyone come up with any info as to the differences as i seem to find the satge one developed 91 BHP wheras in the range rover of the same era it was 156 BHP and the 110 113BHP. I know about the restrictors which were the same part # on both 110 & stage 1. The camshafts seem to change but not by very much and some 110 + stage one and RR all are the same. The part books list the stage 1 as havindg the high lift shaft wheras the 110 mostly have a lower lift.
Any info would help as i do want to get the best out of the "new" engine.
Can anyone also give me suggestion for SU needles for an unrestricted engine?
 The stage 1 engine # is 11G02135.
The 110 engine # is 14G01657A
any help will be much appreciated.
