Well done Paddocks

<< < (2/6) > >>

Rangie3.0LtrDan:
The ball joint i have in the new one did look different to the one they supply as a kit.  The ball with the bolt part sticking out of it was silver in my kit, was also suprised that they didnt also supply a new nut for the top or a split pin which are both bits you get in the kit!

the loon:
only problems I have ever had with paddocks is there courries but aprart from that they always seem good

Nick666:
Bought quite a few things from them over the last few weeks, service has been pretty good ... even refunded a set of Warn 8" spots that I had to return because they were too big to fit on the A-bar (shoulda measured first!). Full refund and no restocking fee which I was happy about. No quibbling either.

Don't get that from many companies so I'd use them again.

V8MoneyPit:
I'm not complaining about the ball joint really. Bit miffed about it lasting so little time, but not worth worrying about.

I've used Paddocks on numerous occasions and, although delivery can be a little slow sometimes, I am perfectly happy with the service they give.

Sooty:

--- Quote from: "V8MoneyPit" ---If it's one of their arms, pre assembled with a ball joint, keep your eyes on the joint. I put one on at the same time as changing the power steering box. It's worn to MOT advisory within 3 months. And it hasn't had a hard life in that time. Only off roaded once.

I'm going to put a genuine one in.

With the greatest of respect Steve have you rang Paddocks and ask them what they think of the situation?
I know you say in your later post you are not complaining but if the unit has failed then to help Paddocks (and therefore future customers) to know if the products they are supplying are up to standard they need feedback like this.
If they then say "tuff luck mate, we are not interested" then tell the world (ie put it on MC) but if they say "sorry sir we will send you a replacement FOC" then also tell the world.
I personally have no complaints about Paddocks but living where I do I never have anything send by courier I just jump in the car and drive up there (having rang first to check stock).
This is not a dig at you Steve as I am the same, not worth complaining for the price, but as an ex retailer of electrical products I know that the only way you know that the product you are selling are faulty is if people tell you.
Ring them and talk to them nicely and you may be presently surprised.
