Littledan, I think you should voice your disagreement about the engine output of a vehicle in somewhere such as General Chat and not in this person's request for help on finding suitable tyres for his vehicle.

jstrat, sorry but I'm not able to give any advice or info on the tyres.  Aren't there any 16-inch rims that are available for your vehicle?

Not without taking a good inch off the brake disks there isn't...

So the discs are actually 16/17-inch in diameter?  :shock:

I know thrasher put 17"s onto his SC and it was VERY tight, or were they 18s even?... look in his gallery.

I am pretty sure you can only just get 19" wheels on the SC. The brakes are not quite as big on the TD6 though. They come standard with 19" wheels and 18" wheels do fit. Not sure about 17" wheels though, might be tight on a 2006 model.

Anyway, I have 18" wheels to put rubber on so thats the size I am looking for advice on. Which seems to be a bit thin on the ground amongst the bhp banter  :?
