They can't do that, they can recommend a repairer but it is your car.  They may not give you a free courtesy car if you use somebody else though.  No way i would take mine to a unfamiliar garage.

The disco is yours and you have a right to have it repaired where you want! approved, non approved, aslong as your non approved quote is less than that of their approved there should be no issue!

In anycase, you are claiming off the truck insurance right?

Try contacting them, with your quote and deal direct with them, at the end of the day you could legally repair the disco (what ever the cost) and sue their sorry butt for the cash!

Their insured has damaged your car, end of!
