PowerSteering light to Heavy - Cured itself???

Range Rover Blues:

--- Quote from: "beattiedh" ---Well The steering seems to have cured itself.

After some good laning with Matt H last weekend and some more today showing my uncle what this great machine can go through the steering is back as it was. Nice and light and very direct. No more light to heavy issues.

Hoorah for the magic of mud!!

Dunc
--- End quote ---

Odly enough, yes, mud is a great degreaser and the lightly abrasive quality will help too.

Good excuse for a dunking once in a while but be careful with where else that mud gets.

Water can be a sod too,
mumble mumble,
got to do those wheel bearings, swivel seals and fit those gaiters on the front, another bearing gone on me now

Looks like a busy thursday

Hello All

I had the same problem? But this was after a bit of green laneing. Checked the fluid that ok but noticed that there was a lot of muck on the steering uj’s running to the steering box, I gave it a good blast with wd40 and it cleared the problem up? Mud might be a lubricant but it’s also a good grinding paste.

This worked for me give it a try

All the best Arightpest
