Hi All

A little advice if possible. The power steering tends to be going from heavy to light as i turn it. Fluids all up to scratch.
Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks in advance

Does it 'groan' when you turn it ?

It's possible you may have some air in there.

Also, it might be worth checking the condition of your steering damper.

Range Rover Blues:
PAS pump drivebelt slipping!  Had exactly the same problem, not helped by the PAS pump leaking fluid all over itself and it's neighbours.  You'll find no logic to when it slips as so many things contribute, oil and water on the belt/pulleys, PAS pump output pressure (goes up when you steer!), alternator load, underbonnet temp, sod's law etc.

Steering Damper??? Not very mechanical but can take directions well.

Will have to look in the old haynes book!!
