speed cameras m42 and birmingham
rangerider:
seems on mine the m25 cameras have been noted at their lowest limit so cruising thru at 70 on an empty road gives me constant overspeed warnings :(
the loon:
on the subject of speed cameras did any one see todays mirror?
Piece about a guy who got caught on a gatso and went back with thermite to torch the evidence then got caught again on the same camera while burning it ....
only thing was the hard drive was in fact in the base of the camera so it was under ground
that and britans highest earning speed camera - £206 an hour :!: :!: :!:
It was/is located in some road works on the M5 where speeds where lowered to 40
Range Rover Blues:
Must be more careful in future then....
I think all cameras, like drivers, should be licenced. There are places they really need to be (and often aren't) and places they are just in appropriate. Like theones in Glossop, hidden in trees for crying out loud, 4 of us in the car, we knew it was therem still couldn't see it between us
ian_s:
just dont break the speed limit........
bezzabsa:
and dont forget the cameras on the M25 and the new ones on the M42 are linked to the signals - so as soon as speed is displayed - cameras automatically adjust so if your under the gantry when they drop the speed there is a good chance you'll be snapped!!
Bloomin liberty!!! and they say they are a safety feature and NOT to collect revenue - YEAH RIGHT!!
