Wheelie
rollazuki:
Always, always wear protective gear. Theres far too much to risk to wear shorts+tshirt.
Id always ride in leathers+boots etc, and as someone has mentioned, theres a time and a place for everything, Busy high streets arent it, but empty country roads....well.......are the place for fun.
glaggs:
AS Rolla says, there is a time and a place for everything. Lifes too short, those who post on this forum get there kicks one way or another from 4x4's. Other people, me included get a thrill from speed on two (or even one) wheels. If you want to realy experience speed and freedom get a bike. No car, no mattert how fast will give you the same thrill. Bikes by their nature are inherantly dangerous, thats part of the attraction. I agree they shouldn't be used in a way that causes un-necesary risk to others but come on guys live and let live, or are we as biggoted as the Ramblers.

Well said Glaggs =D>
I've had Blades, an R1 and currently an RSVR - all capable of 160 +
Have I done it on any of them - course I have - all of them.
Speed kills ! Then why am I still here ?
It is actually BAD DRIVING\RIDING that kills - this can of course be speeding in the wrong place\time.
I wouldn't go to the corner shop with out my full Dainese race leathers on - people mitigate but don't elimate risk - if there was no risk you could argue that that there's no enjoyment.
Think about it - next time you're about to make a steep decent - have you walked it first ? have you made sure all spectators are far enough away in case anything goes wrong ? have you got a full cage on ?
'Let him without sin cast the first stone'
( Disclaimer to any plod reading - all references to breaking the speed limit are a figment of my overactive imagination. :^o )

speed doesnt kill its the sudden stop lol
we all know what we are doing when we put that helmet on let us enjoy it as with 4x4 bikes are a minority so get enough greif anyway.
rolling stoppies are more impressive than wheelies
