Does anyone know of a really very very quiet cheap generator? need to power caravan on site?

Have you tried putting a wind break round one, it muffles the noise quite well

Build a wooden box that will fit over the gen and line it with polystryene, make sure you have a breather hole for the exhaust and adequate clearence to prevent the poly contacting hot parts and 'bingo' one quiet gen
life's to short to drive crap.

how quiet?, just wondering if I'll get away with it at night on a campsite?
