Classic cars disappearing!

only 745 marinas left ?i had four :lol: i remember going to blackpool in my 1.8 and my missus feeling car sick, everytime she looked down through the hole in the floor :lol: :lol: i was recently looking at buying another ,on ebay but the price went for more than i paid for all four of my old ones combined :?

Had a T reg 1.6 Cortina, which sadly got totally trashed, I did major repairs on it then it got roled in a motorway accident by the new owner. :(
Dad had a Rover 2000SC and later a 3500TC both brought for peanuts and sold for a lot more :) Loverly gars and thats where I discovered the Rover V8, net another one a year later as a boat inboard. I have seen these still about sometimes.
Some of the late 80's and early 90s cars have totally vanished. OK, they were a bit rubbish but where did the Montegos and Meastros go?
I noticed that Capris are all but gone. And when did you last see a Renault Fuego?

Blimey, i was weeened on marinas-- i guess if you could get one of those round a corner at speed you were set up to challenge most things,
also when did you last see an austin 1800 (land crab) whe had a very faithfull one of these till it fell apart one day (literally)

Mate left one of them on mum and dads lawn while I was at school. My house was on route and I remeber everyone saying wow and was it mine etc. He turned round when he emmigrated and said we could have it, looked forward to it being my first car but it was sold on :(

we had an ALLEGRO until xmas.. lovely motor with an MG metro engine fited ;)
