Wandering Disco
Loz2286:
I have recently bought a 1996 300Tdi. Lovely motor, which nicely compliments my 1961 Series 2. Chalk and cheese they are, but the Disco seems to wander on the roads more than the 2. I guess I should be looking at the bushes. Any other pointers? How easy are they to replace?
Many thanks.

Steering ball joints x4........maybe low tyre presures........wheel bearings
strangerover:
I had same problem and it was my panhard rod !
Range Rover Blues:
All the above, tyre pressures, tracking, panhard rod, steering, REAR radius arms bushes as well as fronts, badly worn tyres, shocks broken springs, steering box, lifted at all is it?

I always look at these first, then work your way round with the other possibilities mentioned, twice I had this and twice these flaming bushes had gone.
Try standing outside the drivers door, reach in and move the steering wheel up and down, watch the position of the front wing against the tyre, if the body moves and the tyres dont, guess what
