Paul.K/LuckyTrucker:
Hi, yes those are my thoughts exactly. No matter how much of a lift you give your car the diffs are always at the same height unless you fit tall tyres. I expect I will be looking for a Defender t- box sometime in the future to bring the gearing back down.  To be honest I have let my heart rule my head on this occassion. They just look so good. Plus £300:00 for 4 BFG Muds on rims well it would have been rude to refuse.                                                                                       Anyone got a good Defender T-Box :?:

Guardian.:
WITH A 2" LIFT IT IS OK BUT JUST CATCHES ON THE REAR END ON A BOUNCY ROAD, IVE JUST TAKEN THEM OF AND PUT 265 75 16 ON LOOKS BETTER CUS THERE WIDER BUT THEY CATCH LIKE A [!Expletive Deleted!] ALL OVER THE PLACE!

Join the queue

I'm after one too

Bulli:
Ashcroft 4.1 to 1 ring and pinion is a better solution. Gives you stock gearing with 31.5 tyres....a lot stronger as well

TimM:
Mike,

How does that compare on price?

A used T-Box I'm hoping is quite cheap, a proper improvement usually frightens my wallet
