If the health of kids is the issue, wouldn't it be more appropriate to remove all smoking/drinking in all the soaps aimed at kids/teenagers??

The Simpsons;
Barts irresponsible skateboarding? ( in the opening sequence)
Maggie being scanned at the store? ( " " " ")
Homers eating habits, drinking & drink/driving??
'Itchy & Scratchy' being edited out of The Simpsons?
Apu Nahasapeemapetalons sterotyping as an immigrant shop-keeper?


I'd really expected the Yanks to do something like this before now.
Look at their response after the Janet Jackson/'wardrobe malfunction'/SuperBowl incident!
An American child will see 2000+ murders on TV (real, or dramatised) by the time he/she's 10, but a flash of flesh & the country's ready for a lynching
