First get a divorce then get a defender!
Back on topic, i can't really see where this thread is coming from. :? There can't be many members motors that don't do any road miles at all. these vehicles are by nature multi purpose so why would you want to exclude any aspect of our vehicles uses from the forum.
redneck:
Don't forget it's not only 4x4s that can go off road, pictures of my Peugeot after competing in a "production car trial" with my local motorsports club
So I would say if the person shows an interest in joining this kind of forum then why not

You're all very welcome.
Both of you.

Add one more to the 6x6 owners club.
I'd take it off road if I could ever outwit a non-synchro gearbox long enough to get past 3rd gear
Glad to see the majority prefer this as an open forum.
Specialist forums often dry up as everybody has identical ideas and objectives, with nothing to discuss forums just go quiet.

I didn't have a 4x4 when I joined but made lots of friends & had a laugh on the forum as well as getting the bug. I now drive a Pajero which has been laning twice but not "off road".
I also help out on the stand at events & would like to think that I would still be welcome if I didn't have a 4x4.
