Freelander Steel Wheels
« on: August 13, 2006, 20:11:08 »
Posting this in the hope that either a manufacturer will pick up on the results or I can draw their attention to the results....Absolutely no interest in it for me apart from the chance to get some better wheels without paying through the nose or modifying

Spoken to a lot of people recently who are using their FL for off roading/greenlaning, all seem to want a better selection of wheels more suited to their needs.
General feelings seem to be steel 15 or 16 inch capable of taking 235 or larger tyre. cheap and cheerful nothing fancy. Not the fancy expensive alloys that you can get anywhere.

If interested or not please feel free to add your comments here and join in the poll.

Thanks

Right well thats good enough for me

Dear <insert wheel manufacturer here>

I think you should seriously consider making 16 inch modular steel wheels for the Freelander cos Terminus wantes 'em

I'm sold - if I were a wheel maker I'd be building them right now at 3am!!

The Freelander i'm borrowing for a few days could do with some steels and a set of MT's.
Sounds like a good idea.
