<< < (2/3) > >>

Xtremeteam:
rangie ABS is an [!Expletive Deleted!] to bleed, changed the block on a classic a few weeks ago & it took longer to bleed it than to actually swap it over

andyhubbard:
I've had the brakes totally bled today so let's see if it works-hope so cos i'm on call tomorrow.

Range Rover Blues:
Andy, give me a ring and I'll tell you how to interogate the ABS system for recorded faults.

Garth:
When you switch the ignition on how long should the pump run??

Mine runs approx 45 seconds!!

andyhubbard:
Daz800-thanks for the tip off and it was air in the system.
Garth-not sure,i'll time it and let you know.

OK, i put my hands up and i'm thick.Had a chat with RRBlues and i told him that i'd fitted a new caliper and had bled the two bleed nipples, and commented that all the ones i'd done in the past had only one.
RRB says only two what about the third,a third i say,yes he says-the one near the top on the inside. Need i say more-a small amount of air came out of that nipple and hey presto, problem solved.
