I am looking at fitting Hilux axles to my vitara.
Does anybody know the correct geometry settings for toe in and caster angle? Also can you recomend any long travel shocks (14"ish) and suitable rated springs at a decent price?

About 3 degrees of caster and 0 to 1mm of toe in.

Have you done it yet.
I put hilux axles on my lwb vit.
4 degrees of caster on mine.

i have hilux axles, but havent a clue what they should be?!

as and when i find somewhere trustworthy enough to set the tracking up i`ll post my findings (front tyres currently seem to run on the outer edge!)

Have you clipped something then, cos my tracking was spot on when i fitted mine.

I've nearly finished it, but I was saying that in March last year :shock:

Should be getting some time off next month so I hope to get it finished.

I had to do it the most complicated way :lol:
It should have been finished in March, but I've not had time (started my own company and haven't had a day off since :x )

Used Range Rover coils with Defender bushes. All linkage is custom made to clear 35"s without cutting body.

Yeah, i thought about coils when i did mine, but in the end decided to stick with leaves as it was simpler to do.

mine is geared to run 35's but i ran out of money and had to settle for 33's in the end.

works well though, on and off road.

sits a bit high though. lol.

need a ladder to be able to get in the thing.
