gtomo2:
Just sent them a nice little letter nothing nasty just pointing out the the electric cars need recharging and were do you get the power to do that so more work for the power stations so they kick out more pollution and advised them on there out of date facts about poluiting 4x4 and pointed them to a few cars that are more poluting.
getting fed up of the mis reporting the news companys do about 4x4 wish someone would ask them to prove there facts.
my little rant over (for now)

Glad to see they have done their homework properly...
I have complained... suggest you do to

Looks like they ignored the complaint or the articles are automatically generated. Any mention of car emissions seems to include a stock phrase for 4x4's

BrumLee:

Is this not evidence that 4x4's have greatly contributed to lowering emmissions
Eeyore:
Exactly right, that man. The highest level of CO2 reduction in passenger vehicles over the past three years or so, has been in the SUV market sector.
cheers

(now digging through his work notes to try and find the relevant bit of info - it was either the SAE or SMMT, or summat, it's on this desk somewhere.......)
