UDTrev:
Glad your son is ok,

He is a rare kid, he did the right thing and didn't try passing the buck etc - for that you should rightfully proud.

glad to hear he escaped ok with minor injuries i am always on edge when my lad goes out on his pushiron . i was run over at the age of 14 went through the windscreen and i will always remember the look on my mums face when she got to the hospital expecting the worse,i was lucky that day!

V8MoneyPit:
Glad to hear the outcome is positive, Debbie.

Had an almost identical incident just the other week. I had just dropped my son of with his mother on the housing estate when a young lad (maybe 10 or so), rode straight off the pavement parallel to me in my 110. You would think 2 tons of Land Rover would stand out to them, but obviously not. Fortunately, I was only doing about 15mph and had space to move over and give him space, but it could have been much worse.
