Drunk Driver

schuee:
Went camping last weekend for the first time with my two young girls, only to a site just up the road, all settled in and the rest of the family joined us all for tea after the footie match.
I was sat with the family around the tent when all of a sudden this car handbrakes on the campsite track, stones flying everywhere, just missing the folks car next to us then nearly wiped us all out then came to a stop in front of a family having a barbecue.
The woman driver falls out of the car, and legs it to her tent so I went up to the car and this Scottish guy gets out stinking of ale  .
Apparently he was teaching his missus to drive, and he saw nothing wrong with it as she had a provisonal licence, which he kept repeating, he explained that his missus had hit the accelerator and he had grabbed the handbrake thus nearly killing us all.By now a large group appeared, and by all means we were ready to lynch him.
The best part was I called the old bill at around 7.30pm and they said they would make it a priorty call, get this they did'nt turn up till 11.00am the next day  , explaining they had been busy the night before.

He explained that as it was on private land that their was nothing he could do if anyone was drink driving, only if someone had been injured would they be able to do something :?
However the drunken couple left at 5.00am the next morning after a night of arguing and pukeing up, well before everyone woke up I wonder why eh :?:
Sorry this is so long winded, all I can think about is what may of happened.
