Mutz:
What did you buy today Joe?
If your talking about the pulley and bolt, if its an original bolt, and put back in properly (i.e. loctited in) and correctlt toqued, there isnt a problem.
Apparently new bolts are fractionally longer and dont grip flywheel correctly, and should be shortened to fit.
Breaking the pulley is expensive but if taken off correctly this shouldnt happen, a hammer is not the correct way of removal!!.

gutless engines of this type?
Reasonable off road, reasonable on road, not brilliant at either.
Tell me what is?

Tiny Tim:
For comparison, 0-60 for SWB auto 2.5 is 15.9 seconds.

Slower than this and there will be a reason.

And re the pulley problem, shortening the bolt by 3mm is recomended but with mine it was the key failed not the bolt.

Change together with belts at 90,000 km and wont be a problem.
