Just looked at a 1992 Kplate Pajero LWB Diesel with 151000k on the clock.

Asking £2750 for it. Bodywork is clean so don't think it can possibly have been off-road, at least not much anyway.

Has electric windows, sunroof, Kenwood radio/cd player. Said on the back MMW (is that a model type I don't know)

Anyway, just after some thoughts please. Price ok? Too much, too little?

Drives fine but quite slow on acceleration but tbh didn't expect it to be fast.

MMC badge means its an import - as are all pajeros, not sure about mmw tho:(

There are a number of things to be sure of with them, try the nice folks at http://www.plcuk.co.uk  Lots of Mitsi owners on there who know more than I ever could about them. They don't bite even if some of them do look a little scary :)

If it doesnt have an air scoop on the bonnet it's a 2.5 tdi, they are sluggish (i assume its auto) manuals are a bit quicker on acceleration, and 2.8's are better still, there are petrol versions.
the price seems about right if its immaculate, a swb would be about the £1750 range and lwb's are about a grand more expensive.
If its been maintained it will be a reliable vehicle, ask for details of services etc. especially when the cambelt was changed. hth.

Thanks. It is the 2.5tdi as didn.t have anything on the bonnet. It had a service in January and had all the filters changed or cleaned but they were listed. Didn't say anything about cambelt. Is that easy to check as there was no other history?
