Cars You Missed

<< < (6/9) > >>

LandRoger:
Having owned more than 150 cars in 40 years of driveing ,Jags,MGs,Triumphs,Humbers, Fords,Austins, etc,
The one i missed -Austin Healey 3ltr allways wanted one could never pull it off though , made do with a MGC 3ltr, favourite of them all a1340 Austin Cooper S Downton tuned ex works rally car(Tiger Tim),
+20 or more 4x4s,

Bush Tucker Man:
Not really within the bounds of this topic (but seeing as I started it :P )

Before px'ing the Discovery for the 110, I seriously considered a TVR Griffith & even test-drove a Griff 400 & a Chimera 450
Oh, I was sorely tempted
(I mean on the road as well, not on a track-day)

Another one I regret missing was a late model Omega 2.5TD CD Estate
(even though it's the B*W engine)

won't be mine then as a wagon pulled out on me at a junction putting a nice crease down the rear quarter insurance wrote it off

cars that i wouldnt of minded owning would be a mk1 lotus cortina or a tricked up anglia 105 but the other half would never let me have either  :(

gtomo2:
Got to be the 3.o senetor for me as well just one heck of a car to see and drive
Also the ford granada 2.8 ghia sport (dad had one). the v6 just sounded so nice

And the same i ralleid a lotus sunbeam and wrote it off   wish i had kept it locked up in a garage now

Mart:
what about the lotus carlton instead of the senetor was the fastest produced saloon car for ages looked pretty mean too
