--- Quote from: "Horness" ---Did anyone go with Lancaster insurance through Confused.com in the end?
I'm in the process of searching for quotes, and they're some £70 cheaper, but I noticed cover for Off-Road and Greenlane use is "EXCLUDED".
They're quoting £237.75 Vs. £310 on my renewal.
More digging needed I think.

yes i went with them in the end about £240 fully comp
not ideal though as the insurance doesnt cover greenlanes and off roading
but exactly what is a greenlane?????
they did offer an alternative that included greenlanes and off roading but it was over £400
Horness:
Problem is, most of my play-time is off-road on private land. I only use the lanes if they're in between the land I need to get to.
Hmm £237 Vs £300+ - Don't know if I should take the chance.

How does an insurance company exclude a legal right of way from their cover. What is their definition of a green lane? I'd be interested to see what they come up with.
It's comparable to offering cover that excludes motorway driving which I would expect to be illegal as motor cover must surely meet some minimum requirements such as TP cover on all legal ROW.
