how many do you think Landrover would sell, if a querk of the car was it jumping out of gear?
i think its a worn selector fork, but iam not sure.

As I said we did not care having the strap there and drove on happily for quite some time. The reason I changed the box now was that a) the gears would not let me get back to Neutral even with force and b) I had a brand new LT95 (old stock which I bought for 130GBP) in the boot...

130 quid for a new box, wow, well done

if its not an easy fix i think mine will have the old bit of string technique.
but its a bit annoying when you spend 10 months rebuilding to find some arse on eblag has sold me a duffer.

LT95 yep engine oil (use 20W50) in the main box
EP90 in the transferbox

thats what i put in our 110 anyway
