How to combat anti 4x4 attitudes

<< < (2/2)

Garin:
Politicians fly around the world and are forced to fly back to London for a  single vote in the house of commons, in the age of technology is this really necessary.

rokcrawlin:
A politician will never use technology unless bribed to use it, Remember it is their right to be members of the Ramblers Association, and retain the right to live in the dark ages, bipeds against 4x4s I think thats them described to a tee

martinTD5:
Hmmm, lets see anti 4x4. Well given that im typing this after hearing the latest report from our local hospital, forgive me for being a bit cynical.

Friday evening at a local nature spot here in Mansfield, the local kids are gatherd enjoying their evening. Next thing you know a 4x4 (not sure what type) comes hurtling over a hil and straight into the group of kids. He aint supposed to be there, (he smashed down two fences) ran over my mates daughter and then reversed back over her. She is critically ill with severe damage to her lungs, heart, and liver and has a compund fracture to her arm. Not a bad way to be when you are 14 years old!!!!  The idiot was then heard to say that she shouldn't have been there!!!! No my friend it's you that shouldn't have been there. Thats why you are now facing an attempted murder charge.

Rather than moaning (and rightly so) about emmisions and government etc etc, perhaps it is stupid acts my the minority that gives us a bad name.

Sorry to come across a bit negative, but it could have been my lad in hospital.

Rant over

rokcrawlin:
Sorry to hear about the kids .... the driver must have been drunk or drugged up to have an attitude like that!..................I feel bad enough about the near miss I had at Driffield ! and would have been mortified if i had hurt someone, but that attitude stinks and obviously belongs to a spineless amoeba without half a braincell
