its possible that theres too much cleaner in the fuel system to burn properly. having said that ive used it in our engine and not noticed a lack of power, but it could depend on the make.
what i would do now is run the tank right down, then fit a new fuel filter and fill the tank right up. hopefully that will cure it, if it doesnt then there is some more perminant damage. :x

I would agree with trying to run it down first and give it a good flush.

You could take a banjo off in the fuel system and try to flush through but it's unlikley you will see anything, a Diesel system only needs the tiniest bit of dirt in it.

If you can get the trade cleaner do you know a freindly garage? If you can take out the infectors and get the spray patterens checked. If something has found it's way into a nozzle it could be messing up the spray and hence the burn. If it's in the fuel pump hope that the clean diesel flushes it back to the tank.

Personally I would gt a new filter in ASAP as if there is dirt you want to be sure of catching it.

Maybe already done..........but if you have removed your filter........make sure you have re-bleed the filter chamber.
