replacing a transfer box

after all the troble ive had with the front hub, i took the disco for a drive and the vibration was getting worse and worse had a look underneath it and the front uj that goes into the the transfer box is knacked and also the bearing in the front of the transfer box is also knackered

so how difficult is it to change the transfer box??

You could just change the front output bearing on the transfer box instead of the whole box.  :D

cheers budgie, i thought i was going to have to take the whole transfer box off, just out of intrest how easy is it to take the transfer box off

Watching with interest - I sense some cash saving coming on if I get on with what I'm currently planning . . . . . always good for a Yorkshireman is cash saving . . . . . have more to spend on my toys that way :wink:
