Do i or Dont i. ??
Andy the Landy:
Go for the interview and decide after that. I've just turned down an extremely well paid job - I didnt like what they told me about the job whilst at interview. Permanent lates and weekend nights = no time for family or Landy
beast5680:
Go for the interview you have nothing to lose by going for it and it keeps your hand in at being interviewed even if you dont go for the job you can look at it as practise for getting the one you do want :D
Sharpshooter:
Thanks for all your advice. I thinki will go for the interview, and see what the setup is like. I have a pretty good job, and as said, i do enjoy my time off. Ill let you know how i get on.
jaws:
don't go back into the trade!work for a large well known company on the spanners.i have just compleated 4 years of training, already being in the trade you should know that everything has changed.most things involve computers, there is very little repair,it's just a case of take off and fit new!there ain't no skill in that, thats why they bring in the polls and pinos.the money is w**k.
the decider should be that after working all day on someone elses car.the last thing you wanna do when you finish work is fix what you broke on your own!plus can't speak for cars but the hgv trade is dying!
Edge:
You could always ask at the interview for the same benefits as your getting in your current job  , they'll probably laugh at you tho. If they see your an enthusiast and feel you'll be a positive addition to the company....they may well up your holiday quota  , my boss did....but then took my xmas bonus back (long story).
