I find a small bottle jack sat on the radius arm and under the chassis pushes the arm down enough to fit +3" springs and +2" blocks.
If you are fitting the kit for offroad use then ring Lamha motorsport and order a set of his nice extended brake lines.About £11 each upto a metre long !!
Nice guy to deal with.
If you use a pipe wrench on the old shock then it should hold for you to fit 17mm ring spanner on nut.
Spray all bolts now with WD40 or similar.
