Had my 300 Tdi  taken out by STRATTON 4X4 , and fitted a 200 Tdi today,just needs engine mounts welding on,  big intercooler fitting ,aircon connecting and filling with whatever they fill them with ,exhaust altering.

yea i,m curious as well why take a step back as it were although the 200 is a good engine

               300 tdi 22- 25 MPG 200TDI 32-35 MPG . LIVED WITH 300 tdi NEARLY 2 YEARS , had 200tdi for 5 years , 200 tdi far better engine although a bit noisy, and its got the same power.

i'd personally swap my td5 and 300 tdi motors for a 200tdi any day

little bit noisey but a hell of a good engine when setup properly
