Biker Question re- tyres

I know the feeling all too well.

I run a TLR1000 and 900 miles and it now needs a rear :shock:  :evil:

And they are not cheap :roll:  :evil:  :evil:

I'd go for the Bridgestone battlax bt 020 too.  I had in excess of 7000 on my ZZR600

Right, been and enquired .. and there are 2 020's listed one marked U and one marked L.. no other differece as far as the bike shop can tell.. apart from £30 !! u is 80 odd quid, L is 120.

Ok, I may be wrong here (I often am) but I think the L is for large bikes so has a different design to the std ones.

I know with my ST I have to have the one designed for heavy bikes
