A mate of mine had the sasme problems with the balancing. I'm led to believe by a non expert that it's because they are re-moulded "on the cheap" leading the original casing to be off centre in the mould. Thus causing the balancing issue.

Moose:
That sound like the reason, I always wondered why they where so bad.

Wanderer:
It could be luck of the draw.
I haven't had any balancing done on my wheels and tyres and they run fine. I get a bit of grief now and again when Tixover mud or whatever gets glued to the inside of the wheel.
